Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) met an untimely end on 14.06.2020. The circumstances remain murky and dust is still to settle. The right to privacy and publicity are not heritable and died with SSR. The information contained in Nyay: The Justice constitute publicly available information.

However, to put it plainly, coincidences are one too many. It is clear, Mahendra Singh is SSR; Urvashi is Rhea Chakraborty. Disclaimers may be genuine or cosmetic. To my mind, it is obvious, a disclaimer which is plainly untrue is worth tinsel. It is an unscrupulous attempt at pulling wool over eyes of this Court. The disclaimer inserted cannot detract from reality: Nyay: The Justice is a celluloid retelling of life and death of SSR.

The right to damages stands preserved.
