In 2006, the marriage of the Appellant-Wife and the Respondent-Husband was solemnized. In 2009, Master Krishav Gautam was born. In 2012, Respondent-Husband filed for divorce. Trial Court directed, Master Krishav Gautam should be admitted in Col. Satsangi’s Kiran Memorial Public School, New Delhi.

Learned Counsel submitted, Master Krishav Gautam is not willing to study in Col. Satsangi’s Kiran Memorial Public School, New Delhi and intends to study in his old school, Global International School, Shahjanpur. Accordingly, he was admitted. It is not in dispute, Master Krishav Gautam, aged 10, was earlier studying in same school. Supreme Court interacted with him.

“We are of the view, in the interest of the welfare of the child, he cannot be compelled to admit in Col. Satsangi’s Kiran Memorial Public School, New Delhi.”
